Dr. Jonathan M. Huffman is a licensed psychologist, board certified behavior analyst, and a certified therapist in parent child interaction therapy. He completed his clinical post-doctoral fellowship in the College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry Division of Psychology at UF Health. Dr. Huffman graduated with his M.A. in clinical psychology from Washburn University and his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Kansas. He has also completed graduate certificates in applied behavioral science and women, gender, and sexuality studies.
Dr. Huffman's dissertation examined the application of the intersectionality framework to the ADDRESSING cultural influences as perceived distance from privilege and the mediated model for seeking counseling using quantitative methods. He has presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Huffman’s most recent publication is “self-monitoring to support the goals of students with autism on college campuses .” He has provided mental health services at medical, inpatient, college counseling, community mental health, OCD intensive outpatient, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) intensive outpatient centers.
